Baseball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Point Loma's Winning Streak

Monday just wasn't the day for Point Loma's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Cathedral Catholic Dons on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Luis Lara was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
