Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cascade). They claimed a resounding 72-12 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Champions considering their 22-point performance the match before.

Kaegan Young was nothing short of spectacular: she posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Ray, who had eight points.

Mt. Pleasant's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Turner, who put up five points and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Klarissa Mcfarland, who earned five points.

The win got Cascade back to even at 12-12. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 15 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-21 record this season.

Cascade didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 41-26 victory against Grundy County on the 18th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have also already played their next matchup, a 40-35 defeat against Battle Creek on the 17th.
