They never let Grimsley get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Mount Tabor got a massive performance out of Jenna Catania, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Catania also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Piper Cox, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Reagan faced High Point Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Reagan walked away with a 5-1 victory over High Point Christian Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
Reagan's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Mount Tabor, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.
