Baseball Recap: Veterans Memorial Comes Up Short

Veterans Memorial fell victim to Los Fresnos and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Chargers have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Veterans Memorial got a good showing from Lalo Alcantar, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Alcantar has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
