Basketball Recap: South Haven Christian Piles Up the Points Against Berean Christian

South Haven Christian posted their biggest win since November 30, 2023 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Berean Christian Kingsmen 76-44. Given South Haven Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 230th in Tennessee, while Berean Christian is ranked 675th in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Haven Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jared White, who went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and four steals. The game was White's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevor Steinbrook, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 21 points.

South Haven Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Berean Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

South Haven Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-47 loss against Horizon Christian Academy on the 17th. Berean Christian has also already played their next game, a 58-47 defeat against Hendersonville Christian Academy on the 17th.
