Baseball Recap: Woods Cross Snags Ninth Win in Last 11 Games

Woods Cross never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Northridge Knights 15-0. Considering the Wildcats have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Alex Razee was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Stetson Chritchley, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Woods Cross kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive contests.

Woods Cross has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Northridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-9.
