Volleyball Game Preview: Yreka Miners vs. West Valley Eagles + How To Watch

Yreka hasn't had much luck against West Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Miners will face off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Yreka and University Prep, and University Prep kept the tradition alive. The Miners came up short against the Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when West Valley took on Central Valley on Thursday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three matches in a row.

West Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Yreka, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Yreka couldn't quite get it done against West Valley in their previous matchup back in August as they fell 2-0. Can the Miners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
