Volleyball Recap: Montcalm Comes Up Short

Montcalm lost against Nicholas County back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Generals took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Montcalm's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Nicholas County, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-21 record.

Coming up, Montcalm will take on Bluefield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nicholas County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against PikeView on the 25th.
