Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millburn). They were the clear victors by a 17-8 margin over the Oratory Prep Rams on Friday.

Keigo Fujita was a standout: he went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Greg Rosenthal was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Millburn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.6.

Millburn is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Oratory Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Millburn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Seton Hall Prep on the 10th. As for Oratory Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Dayton on the 10th.
