Football Recap: Cordova Lancers vs. Grant Pacers
Friday just wasn't the day for Cordova's offense. They were beaten by the Grant Pacers 55-0 on Friday. The Lancers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.
Grant had a senior duo take command as Luke Alexander threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 14-for-14 passing and Brandon Lambert gained 117 total yards and two touchdowns. Alexander is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
Cordova's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Grant, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Cordova does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grant, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on November 15th. Grant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 38.4 points per game this season.
