Basketball Recap: Hellgate Starts Season with Win on the Road

Hellgate had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They secured a 45-40 W over the Billings Senior Broncs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Hellgate was led to victory by Spencer Wayland and Zane Gillhouse. Wayland went 6 for 10 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds, while Gillhouse posted 14 points. Chance McNulty was another key player, putting up eight points.

Hellgate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-46 defeat against Skyview on the 14th. As for Billings Senior, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-49 victory against Sentinel on the 14th.
