Basketball Game Preview: Bethel-Tate Tigers vs. Georgetown G-Men

The Bethel-Tate Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Georgetown G-Men at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bethel-Tate is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since December 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Williamsburg, falling 54-31. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Georgetown hadn't done well against Lynchburg-Clay recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Georgetown came out on top against Lynchburg-Clay by a score of 36-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the G-Men.

Bethel-Tate's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Georgetown, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.
