Basketball Recap: South Albany Extends Winning Streak to 13

South Albany had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Canby Cougars 70-28. The Redhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

The victory (which was South Albany's 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Canby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-13.
