Trinity came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Waggener Wildcats get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Trinity's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Waggener, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Trinity will square off against Central Hardin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Waggener, they will challenge Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Golden Eagles at the right time seeing as the Golden Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
