Baseball Recap: Seminole Ridge Comes Up Short

Seminole Ridge was the 8-3 winner over Olympic Heights when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seminole Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Endemann, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another was Brandon Turner, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Seminole Ridge's record now sits at 11-9. As for Olympic Heights, their record is now 2-14.

Looking ahead, Seminole Ridge will head out on the road to square off against Cardinal Newman at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Olympic Heights, they will host Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
