Pisgah had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They put the hurt on the Raleigh Lions with a sharp 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Pisgah's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Raleigh, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

Coming up, Pisgah will head out on the road to challenge Taylorsville at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Raleigh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Raleigh's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
