MCC came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 46-45 win over the Islamic Foundation Chargers. This was a revenge game for the Crescents: when they faced off against the Chargers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 40-38 loss.

Leading MCC to victory were Nisreen Khellil and Asma Ghomrawi. Khellil posted 17 points, while Ghomrawi had ten points.

MCC has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points per game. As for Islamic Foundation, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

MCC has already played their next matchup (against Niles North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Islamic Foundation has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Schaumburg Christian.
