LBJ Austin came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor the Lago Vista Vikings could gain the upper hand on Saturday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars as the squad haven't won a game since December 30, 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Darwin Alvarez, who's now up to two this season.

LBJ Austin's draw gives them a new season record of 1-4-1. Meanwhile, Lago Vista's record is now 4-1-4.

LBJ Austin will venture away from home to take on Travis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LBJ Austin is facing Travis at the right time seeing as Travis is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lago Vista, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Eastside Early College at 7:30 p.m. Lago Vista's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
