For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Trinity-Pawling School and Hotchkiss School meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Pride had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 6-5. The Pride have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Luc Bush was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Patrick Leonard was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

The win got Trinity-Pawling School back to even at 3-3. As for Hotchkiss School, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Trinity-Pawling School will square off against rival Westminster School at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hotchkiss School is set to face off against their familiar foe Choate Rosemary Hall School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
