Baseball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short

Eastmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles, falling 13-3. The Firebirds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Eastmark saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keagan Heirshberg, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Eastmark's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

While Eastmark had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
