Volleyball Game Preview: Hutto Hippos vs. Cedar Ridge Raiders

Hutto is 2-8 against Cedar Ridge since August of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hippos will host the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hutto lost 3-0 to Round Rock on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge came up short against Vandegrift on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Vandegrift scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 18-25, 25-17.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Hutto, their loss dropped their record down to 13-24.
