McClave put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Idalia Wolves as they made off with a 3-0 victory. For the Cardinals, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

McClave never let Idalia on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-22.

McClave's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Idalia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

McClave didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cheyenne Wells on the 9th. As for Idalia, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hi-Plains at 2:00 p.m. on the 19th.
