Basketball Recap: Noah Howes' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Families Instructing Students Homeschool over Palmetto Homeschool

While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 624th in Florida, while the Guardians are ranked 187th in South Carolina).

Several Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Howes, who posted 13 points and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalvin Kuhnke, who earned six points along with six boards and four steals.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-12 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Palmetto HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 16-8.
