Softball Recap: Great Falls Takes a Loss

Great Falls lost against Lamar back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Devils lost 17-1 to the Silver Foxes. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Great Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lamar, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Great Falls is set to face off against their familiar foe Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lamar will square off against rival C.A. Johnson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Silver Foxes' favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Hornets have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
