On Tuesday, Deep Creek got the win against King's Fork by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Lakeland lost 3-0 to Western Branch on Tuesday.

While Lakeland was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-7, 25-23.

Deep Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Lakeland, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Deep Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Lakeland when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
