Polk County had lost eight straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-15 to make it nine. They came up short against the York Dukes, falling 13-3. If the Slammers were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Dukes when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
