Glenbrook South waltzed into their game on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Deerfield Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

While Glenbrook South might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Deerfield scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20.

Zolboo Erdene paced Glenbrook South's offense, picking up eight kills. Erdene got some help from Anand Khatanbaatar and his 23 assists. Erdene was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Glenbrook South's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-11. As for Deerfield, they now have a losing record of 15-16.

Coming up, Glenbrook South will head out to square off against Loyola Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deerfield, they will face off against Grant Community at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
