Basketball Game Preview: Northfield Norsemen vs. Bluffton Tigers

The Northfield Norsemen will square off against the Bluffton Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Thursday, Northfield got the win against Mississinewa by a conclusive 54-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Norsemen have posted against the Indians since January 11, 2018.

Faith Krom went supernova, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Baer, who shot 56% from the field en route to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Bluffton against Fort Wayne Canterbury on Saturday as the team secured an 81-13 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won six in a row.

The victory got Bluffton back to even at 1-1. As for Northfield, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
