Softball Recap: Boron Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Boron and Desert have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Scorpions by a score of 5-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost four in a row.

Boron's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Desert, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boron will welcome California City at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Desert, they will host Silver Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Scorpions are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
