Volleyball Recap: Wrangell Wolves vs. Petersburg Vikings        
        
		
             Wrangell lost to Petersburg  back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wrangell Wolves walked away with  a   2-0  victory over the Petersburg Vikings. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wolves.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Wrangell took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15,  25-15.
 Wrangell was led to victory by  Christina Johnson and  Kayla Young.  Johnson  had nine  digs and three  aces, while  Young  had seven  digs and two  aces. Johnson is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served two or more in the last six games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Wrangell's win bumped their record up to 3-4-1. As for Petersburg,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Wrangell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Petersburg, they will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ketchikan on October 25th.
