Baseball Recap: Brush Arcs vs. Garfield Heights Bulldogs
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brush). They put the hurt on the Garfield Heights Bulldogs with a sharp 17-1 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Arcs in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.
Isaac Sypniewski made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Sypniewski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Those hits were his first of the season.
In other batting news, Brush got a massive performance out of Dominick Taylor, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those runs marked the first that Taylor has scored this season.
