Providence Academy lost to Waxahachie Prep back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Providence Academy Lions blew past the Waxahachie Prep Warriors 47-25. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Providence Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kylie Daniels, who posted 11 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Katie Clay, who scored nine points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Providence Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.7 points per game. As for Waxahachie Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.

Providence Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Waxahachie Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
