It was another big night for Jayden Prosper, who went 8 of 13 en route to 22 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Felix Buroz, who posted five points in addition to ten assists, eight steals, and seven boards.
Meanwhile, King's Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They breezed by the Bulldogs to the tune of 68-33. The game marked the Lions' most dominant victory of the season.
King's Academy's win came from a few key players Centennial will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Honour Mays, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc on his way to 18 points. Isaiah McCoy was another key player, putting up eight points along with 12 rebounds and four blocks.
King's Academy pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Centennial, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Centennial has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.7 boards per game.
