Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Autumn Desimone-Jay stepped things up a notch to give Monadnock the 'W'. Desimone-Jay was unstoppable, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Desimone-Jay and Monadnock will venture away from home to take on Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
