Volleyball Recap: Swett Comes Up Short

Swett lost against Kennedy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Swett Warriors fell just short of the Kennedy Eagles by a score of 3-2. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-15 in the first set.

Swett took Kennedy into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-11, 25-21, 18-25, 15-12.

Swett has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. The win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Swett will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hercules at 7:00 p.m. As for Kennedy, they will head out on the road to take on Bethel at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
