Basketball Recap: Casa Grande's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Casa Grande had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-42 victory over the Napa Grizzlies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-37 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Casa Grande to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Isola, who went 9 of 16 to rack up 21 points. What's more, Isola also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Ryan Rice, who posted 16 points and six steals.

Casa Grande's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Napa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Casa Grande didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-48 victory against Sonoma Valley on the 6th. As for Napa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-21 win against Vintage on the 4th.
