Soccer Game Preview: Inglewood vs. Centennial

The Inglewood Sentinels will challenge the Centennial Apaches at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Inglewood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Culver City on Friday. They came up short against the Centaurs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 871st, while the Centaurs are ranked 312th).

Meanwhile, Centennial has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 26. They lost 3-0 to Leuzinger on Friday.

Inglewood dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
