Basketball Game Preview: Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles vs. Montachusett RVT Bulldogs

The Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles will challenge the Montachusett RVT Bulldogs at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Advanced Math & Science Academy has three straight wins, Montachusett RVT has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Wednesday, Advanced Math & Science Academy didn't have too much trouble with Blackstone-Millville as they won 53-38.

Meanwhile, Montachusett RVT played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Bay Path RVT and fell 78-29. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Minutemen are ranked 48th).

Advanced Math & Science Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Montachusett RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.

Everything came up roses for Advanced Math & Science Academy against Montachusett RVT in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 66-23 win.
