Recap: Watertown Arrows vs. Riggs Governors
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Watertown Arrows, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Their rough 35-14 loss to Riggs on Friday might stick with them for a while. Watertown has struggled against Riggs recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even if they lost, Watertown's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Riggs' QB was sacked three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Caden Beauchamp and his two sacks.
Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Riggs, their win was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Riggs will square off against Yankton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yankton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
