Volleyball Recap: Alcoa Takes a Loss

Alcoa lost against William Blount back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tornadoes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Governors.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: William Blount scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20.

Alcoa's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for William Blount, they pushed their record up to 28-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Alcoa has already played their next matchup (against Sevier County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for William Blount, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Maryville on the 29th.
