Ash Fork/Seligman came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Northland Prep Academy, falling 19-5.

D. J. Godinez was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Salome had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rams as they made off with a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Frogs, who have now won four matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Ash Fork/Seligman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Salome, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
