Softball Recap: West Milford's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Passaic last Wednesday, West Milford came back down to earth. The Highlanders came up short against the Fair Lawn Cutters on Friday, falling 11-1. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Cutters recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Cassy Rubinsky made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Milford fell to 2-1. As for Fair Lawn, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, West Milford will square off against Nutley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fair Lawn, they will challenge Paramus on Saturday.
