Basketball Game Preview: Astronaut War Eagles vs. Boone Braves

The Astronaut War Eagles will challenge the Boone Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Astronaut: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Boone has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.

On Friday, Astronaut had to suffer through a 71-35 loss at the hands of Titusville.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Boone's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Olympia 70-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (55), the Braves still had to take the loss.

Boone's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Astronaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Astronaut came up short against Boone when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 65-57. Thankfully for Astronaut, Cheo James (who went 10 for 19 on his way to 35 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
