The Chelsea Bulldogs were able to grind out a solid victory over the Pennfield Panthers on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Melayna Minyard paced Chelsea's offense, picking up nine kills. Minyard got some help from Lexi Cummer and her 21 assists. Mia Kuboushek controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Chelsea's win bumped their record up to 13-5-1. As for Pennfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-3.

Chelsea has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Plainwell on the 13th. As for Pennfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
