Westview has gone 8-2 against Southridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Skyhawks at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Friday just wasn't the day for Westview's offense. They fell just short of Sunset by a score of 2-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Southridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of Mountainside.

Westview has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Southridge, they now have a losing record of 11-12.
