Recap: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Lassiter Trojans
The Blessed Trinity Titans suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 58-38 walloping at the hands of Lassiter. While losing is never fun, Blessed Trinity can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while Lassiter is ranked 42nd).
Lassiter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cal Liston, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyhir Torrence, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Blessed Trinity's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-17. As for Lassiter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.
Blessed Trinity will be playing at home against Sprayberry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lassiter, they will head out on the road to square off against Pope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
