Baseball Recap: Timberlake Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Timberlake's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs on Monday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Timberlake's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

Timberlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they will take on Drummond at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
