Volleyball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when King's Academy challenged Conway on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for King's Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Conway, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

King's Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dillon Christian at 6:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Conway, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Florence on the 25th.
