Baseball Recap: Bigfork Has No Trouble Against Noxon

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bigfork). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Noxon Red Devils a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Bigfork's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Noxon, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Bigfork will take on Ronan at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chiefs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.57 runs per game on average), something the Vikings and Valkyries will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Noxon, they will challenge St. Ignatius at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
