Soccer Recap: Appleton West Takes a Loss

Appleton West was the 2-1 winner over Fond du Lac when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Terrors fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-3. As for Fond du Lac, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5-3 and their overall record up to 4-7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Appleton West will challenge Nicolet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fond du Lac, they will venture away from home to square off against Pewaukee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pewaukee's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
